Mobile Apps

The mobile version of the Public Art Omaha site is available on the iPhone and Android devices. Using the app, you are able to:

Identify This Art - Take a picture of a work of art nearby. We'll take the GPS information from the picture and try to find the best match!
Find Art Near Me - Navigate Omaha's public art using a map view on your phone. The map opens up to show you pieces of art which are nearby, but scroll around and see what else you can find!
Search for Art - Search the Public Art Omaha database of art from your mobile device.

You will need access to mobile data or wifi, and a location service enabled on your phone in order to use the app. An on-device camera is needed to take pictures for the "Identify This Art" feature.

The apps are designed to work in the Greater Omaha Area, and will not show any art that is not in our databases.

iPhone App

Download the app from the App Store by searching "Public Art Omaha." iOS 4.0 is required.

The iPhone version of the app also supports the 2x view on an iPad.

Android App

Download the Android app on your Android 2.1 or higher device by searching for "Public Art Omaha" in the Market, or visit the webpage at https://market.android.com/details?id=edu.unomaha.ist.pao.

Use the menu key on your Android device to share, set as wallpaper, or even navigate to the piece if you're on the move!
