The artwork of Omahan Rebecca Nahas Abbott embodied her spirit: vibrant, hopeful, adventurous and courageous, said her husband, James Abbott. Her photographs, prints and mixed-media works show gentle silhouettes in soft landscapes and striking close-ups of graceful, elegant leaves and blooming flowers. Her husband, James Abbott, helped to create this memorial to her after she lost her battle with leukemia in 2009.
