Description
Birdcage with bronze human-birds
Additional Information
The remodeled Charles B. Washington Branch Library features an outdoor sculpture reading garden. Two bronze sculptures and a giant birdcage containing bronze birds visually express Omaha artist Yanna Ramaeker’s interpretation of Maya Angelou’s poem “Caged Bird.” Ramaeker designed the sculptures and garden to be a peaceful environment for reading and meditation
